시놉시스 Synopsis
“엄마가 잠시 부재중에 아이는 바다에 빠지게 된다. 그 이후에 어떤 일들이 벌어졌을까?”
도심 가까이 작은 어촌 마을, 한낮에 홀로 잠에서 깬 아이는 엄마를 찾아 집 안팎을 돌아다니다 마당 뒷문을 통해 바닷가로 나아가고 순간 사라진다. 어떤 손길에 의해 물방울이 된 아이는 바다 속 깊은 호수로 가게 되고, 다른 물방울들과 함께 머무르게 된다. 그리고 보름달이 뜬 어느 날 바닷속 깊은 호수 위로 달빛이 찾아오고, 물방울들은 하늘 위 구름이 되어 바람과 함께 세상 밖 여행을 시작한다.
"The mother is away for a while and the child falls into the sea. What has happened since then?”
A small fishing village near the city center, a child who wakes up alone in the middle of the day walks around in and out of the house looking for his mother. Through the back door of a yard, the child goes to the beach and suddenly disappears. The child who becomes a drop of water by a touch goes to a deep lake in the sea and stays along with other drops of water. One day when the full moon illuminates, moonlight comes over the deep lake in the sea. The drops of water come over the sky through clouds and they begin a journey out to the world with the wind.
연출의도 Purpose
1. 생의 순환적 관점 : 삶과 죽음에 대한 오래된 태도에 대하여
매 순간 자연재해와 테러, 예기치 않은 사고를 통해 수많은 생명이 떠나가는 현실 속에 우리는 살고 있습니다.
이 작품은 떠나간 이들이 새로운 생의 시작점에 놓인 과정을 들려주고자 합니다.
그리고 남은 이들이 삶을 지속할 수 있는 어떤 마음에 대해서도 잠시 생각해보려고 합니다.
끝이 아닌 또 다른 생명의 시작점에 놓인 물방울의 여행을 통해 물의 순환성과 삶의 연속성을 같은 맥락으로 이해하고자 합니다.
2. 갓난아기를 일컫는 제주 사투리 “물래기”
갓난아기를 일컫는 제주 사투리에 “물래기”란 말이 있습니다.
그 의미를 가늠해 보면 물방울들이 모인 거대한 바다와 같은 이 세상에서 “물래기” 곧 “물아기”는 하나의 물방울과 같은 존재로 아주 작고 여린 생명체의 상징하는 의미라고 생각됩니다.
3. 눈(雪)은 제자리를 찾아 내린다.
아이는 물방울이 되어 자신의 집으로 다시 찾아옵니다.

Through this work, we are going to show you the process of the dead's being put at the starting point of the life. Also, we are going to give you a moment to think about any kind of mind that can sustain your life. Through the journey of the waterdrop, I would like to understand the circulation of the water and the continuity of the life in the same context.
2. ‘Mulagi’ a Jeju dialect that refers to a newborn baby.
There is a word 'Mulagi' in Jeju island dialect which refers to a newborn baby. If you measure it, in the huge oceanlike world, the word means a drop of water that symbolizes a tiny and delicate life.
3. The snow finds its place and lowers.
The child comes back to his house in droplets.
