시놉시스 Synopsis
행크는 먼 곳으로부터 보이는 신비한 빛을 따라서 동생 앤디와 숲속으로 들어간다. 숲속에서 길을 잃고 헤맬 때, 그는 빛에 대한 집착이 더욱 중요한 걸 잊어버리게 만들었다는 것을 깨닫는다.
Hank sees a light from afar and is fixated by it. He decides to follow the light into the forest with Andy, his younger brother. They find themselves lost in the forest, causing Hank to realise that his fixation with the light makes him lose sight of what is right in front of him.
연출의도 Purpose
외딴 집과 숲이라는 공간을 배경으로 두 형제가 느끼는 외로움과 일상의 공허함, 정적을 표현하고 멀리 있는 것을 쫓다가 정작 가까이에 있는 것과 이미 가진 것의 소중함을 잊는 캐릭터의 모습을 단편 애니메이션으로 나타내고자 하였다.
The short animation portrays the solitude, emptiness and silence in the everyday lives of two brothers living in a remote house in the woods, and how they fail to see the nearby things that are already theirs while chasing that which is far away.
