작품 줄거리 Story
지금 세상에는 특별한 개들이 숨어 살고 있다. 인간에 필적할 지능을 가졌고, 말도 하고,
초능력도 쓰고, ‘반인반견’의 전사로 변신하기도 하는, 그들의 이름은 ‘포텐독’.
이들은 개가 인간을 지배하는 세상을 꿈꾸며 감춰왔던 이빨을 인류에게 드러낼 준비를 하고 있는 ‘골드팽’과 반대로 인간과 공생해야 한다 주장하는 ‘포.동.넷’(포텐독 동지 네트워크)으로 나누어져 활동을 벌이고 있다. 골드팽은 인간에게 마음의 상처를 입은 개들로 이루어져
있으나, 포동넷은 인간과의 행복한 반려 생활을 꿈꾸거나 전쟁보단 평화를 중시하는 개들로 구성되어 있어 두 집단의 간극은 날로 커져만 가고 있다. 그러던 어느 날, 포동넷의 에이스
‘카이’와 사람보다 개가 좋은 왕따 소년 ‘원석’이 운명적인 만남을 갖게 된다. 부모님의 반대로 개를 키울 수 없었던 원석은 카이의 골드팽 저지 작전을 몰래 돕기로 하며 특별한 반려견이 생겼다는 생각에 신나하지만, 카이는 포동넷임에도 불구하고 인간에 대한 신뢰와 애정이 없어 그런 원석이 귀찮고 원석을 이용해 먹을 궁리만 한다. 이렇게 동상이몽을 꿈꾸는 둘은 과연 함께 힘을 합쳐 골드팽을 저지하고 개와 인간 모두 행복한 세상을 만들어낼 수 있을까?
There are very special dogs in the world currently living in hiding. They have human intelligence, the ability to speak, and supernatural powers. They can even transform into human-dog hybrids. They are called Potendogs, and they are divided into two groups: the Goldfangs who dream of bearing their teeth and conquering mankind; and the Podongnets who advocate for peaceful coexistence with humanity. The Goldfangs are dogs that have been hurt deeply by humans, while the Podongnets dream of happy lives as pets or believe in the importance of peace. The rivalry between the two groups is growing
day by day. Then one day, Kai, the most praised member of the Podongnets, and Wonsuk, an outcast boy who loves dogs more than people, find each other by chance. Wonsuk decides to secretly help Kai in his mission against the Goldfangs and is excited at the prospect of having a pet. Meanwhile, Kai lacks faith and love for humans, despite being a member of the Podongnets, and thinks only of ways to use the irritating Wonsuk for his own gain. In spite of their different goals, can the pair join forces to stop the Goldfangs and create a better world for both dogs and humans?
