시놉시스 Synopsis
마음이 텅 빈 남자의 방에는 살아있는 것들이 하나도 없다. 그렇게 멍하니 바라보는 TV에서, 이상적인 공간인 숲으로부터 치유를 받는 장면을 보게 된다. 무기력하고 수동적이었던 그는 자신의 방 속을 차츰 걸어보며, 어딘가에 있을 자신만의 숲을 찾아본다.
There is nothing alive in the empty man's room. He looks blankly at the TV. There he sees the scene of healing in the woods, the ideal space. Being lethargic and passive, he slowly walks through his room and looking for his own forest somewhere.
연출의도 Purpose
문득 잡동사니로 널브러진 아빠의 방을 둘러다 보며 정작 아빠의 것은 없었다. 그리고 그 흔한 식물조차도 없었다. 그저 털썩 집에 들어와 방의 문을 꼭 닫고 습관적으로 TV를 틀며 TV 속 그 세상을 동경하고 대리만족해하는 아빠였다. 그런 그의 공간은 과연 그가 쉴 수 있는 공간일까 라는 생각을 하게 되었다. 아빠의 공간에 조금 더 안락한 숲을 만들어 드리고 싶었다.
Suddenly, I looked around my dad's room in a mess, and there was nothing for him. And there wasn't even the common plant. He just came home and shut the door of his room, turned on TV habitually, admiring the world on TV and satisfied himself. Such a space led me to wonder if it was a space where he could rest. I wanted to create a more comfortable forest in my dad's space.
