시놉시스 Synopsis
몸에서 돌이 자라나 세상 밖을 나올 수 없었던 소년. 햇빛 알레르기를 앓고 있는 소녀. 태양을 가질 수 없었던 두 아이들이 만나, 갖고 싶지만 가질 수 없었던 빛을 찾아나가는 이야기. 과연 그들은 빛을 손에 넣을 수 있을까?
A boy whose stones grew out of his body and could not get out of the world. A girl suffering from sunlight allergy. Two children meet who could not have the sun. The story of finding the light they wanted but couldn't have. Can they get the light?
연출의도 Purpose
두 주인공은 낮에 뛰어노는 아이들처럼 되고 싶었으나 남들처럼 되지 못함에 좌절합니다. 태양 속의 행복이 전부인 줄 알았던 두 아이가 만나 있는 그대로의 모습을 받아들이는 과정을 통해 점차 행복이 무엇인지 깨닫게 됩니다.
세상에는 다양한 모습의 사람들이 같은 기준 속에서 적응하며 살고 있습니다. 하지만 우리는 세상이 원하는 모습과 다를지도 모릅니다. 태양 대신 달의 아이들로 살아가기로 결심하는 소년과 소녀처럼 사람들은 사회적 통념, 편견을 벗어나 자신의 모습에 솔직해지고 그 가치를 세상에 드러내는 용기가 필요함을 보여주는 작품입니다.
The two kids wanted to be like children running in the daytime, but they were frustrated because they couldn't be like others. I gradually realize what happiness is in the process of accepting the way the two children meet.
People of different shapes live in the same standard. But we may be different what the world wants. Just like boys and girls who decide to live on the moon children instead of the sun, it's a work that shows that people need the courage to be honest about their true selves and reveal their values to the world.
