시놉시스 Synopsis
마루, 카이, 아라는 보르네오 섬을 떠나 한국으로 돌아가던 중 갑작스러운 화산 폭발에 휩쓸려 이상한 섬에 불시착하게 된다.
그곳은 300여 개의 화산이 꿈틀거리고 있는 불의 화산섬인 자바섬. 미스터리한 화산 활동이 시작되며 땅속에서 멸종 생물의 화석들이 기어 나와 정글을 파괴하기 시작한다. 이에 마루 일행은 원주민 전사 퉁가와 자바섬의 정령인 레즈라, 볼턴과 함께 자바섬을 구하기 위한 또 한 번의 모험을 하게 된다. 어떻게 해서 멸종된 화석들이 다시 살아난 것일까? 그 미스터리를 푸는 과정에서 마루 일행은 고대 마녀 루시가 화석이 되어 잠들어있던 고대 동물들을 이그라스로 부활시킨 것을 알게 된다. 더욱 강력해진 이그라스들과 대결하며 우정을 키워가는 마루 일행, 마녀 루시가 기다리는 대화산을 향해 나아간다.
Maru, Ky and Ara leave Borneo Island and head home to Korea. On the way, a sudden volcanic explosion causes them to crash land on a strange island. This is Java, an island with over 300 active volcanoes. In the midst of the mysterious volcanic activity, the fossils of extinct creatures crawl out of the ground and begin to destroy the jungle. Maru and the kids join forces with Tunga, a native warrior, as well as Lezra and Bolton, the spirits of Java. Together, they go on an adventure to save the island. How did the extinct animals come back to life? As they search for the answer to the mystery, the kids discover that the ancient witch Rucy brought the fossils to life as Igras. The kids grow closer together as they face the Igras that have grown more powerful, and they head toward the great volcano where Rucy the witch awaits them.
