시놉시스 Synopsis
높은 첨탑이 하늘을 메우고, 불필요한 것은 가차 없이 버려지는 세상. 유용성을 입증하지 못하고, 어린 시절 인간에게 버림받은 모글이는 이곳저곳 떠돌아 폐기장에 머물게 된다. 상처를 안은 모글이는 모두에게 적개심을 표출하지만, 우연히 폐기장에서 만난 로봇 롬과는 조금씩 마음을 나누게 된다. 모글이는 롬이 집으로 돌아가는 것을 간절히 꿈꾸는 것을 알고 그와 함께 고난과 역경을 헤치며 롬의 집을 찾아다니게 된다.
It is a world where high buildings fill the sky and things get thrown away as soon as they become useless. A dog named Mogeulee got abandoned when he was a puppy because he couldn’t prove he was useful. Mogeulee wanders about from place to place, and he ends up in a dumpsite. Hurt by people, Mugeulee is hostile to everyone he meets, but he opens up to a robot named ‘Rom’ he met in the dumpsite. After finding out that Rom wishes to go back to its home, Mogeulee goes through hardships and troubles with Rom to find the way to Rom’s home.
연출의도 Purpose
“어쩌면”이라는 가정으로 시작해 긍정적인 방향을 보여주고 싶었다. 서로 다르지만 그들이 모두 공존하는 공간을 꿈꿨다.
그래서 집이다.
Starting with “Maybe”, I wanted to depict an optimistic outlook. I dream of a place where different beings can co-exist.
And that is, home.
