시놉시스 Synopsis

섬을 찾아 바다 위를 걷고 있는 배위의 두 남자.
Two men on a boat walking on the ocean to find the island.


연출의도 Purpose

주인공(홉)은 오랜 시간 동안 바다를 헤맨 끝에 발견한 장소가 섬이 아니었다는 사실을 받아들일 수 없다. 그는 현실을 부정하고 섬이 아닌 곳을 섬으로 바꾸는 [망각과 왜곡의 여정]을 시작한다. [구구]는 이상을 꿈꿨지만 현실의 벽에 부딪혀 세계관이 뒤틀린 사람에 대한 슬픈 동화다.

Hop can’t acknowledge the island he eventually found out through all the journey was not an island. He denies the reality and gets on a new journey to change the place which is not an island into an island. [Gugu] is a tale about a person who got screwed perspective to see the world due to dreams he can’t make.
