Locus is Korea’s leading media content company focusing on CGI / VFX production, animation production, and character merchandising. It was founded in 2009 as a specialized CGI animation and VFX studio and currently creates approximately over 300 commercials each year as the foremost company in the industry. Locus specializes in full 3D animations and collaborates with major gaming companies such as Netmarble, Supercell, Tencent, NetEase and others to produce game cinematics. Locus' Shanghai office opened in 2017, and the company is expanding into the global scene, including the Chinese market. Locus recently produced the animated feature film Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarves scheduled to be released worldwide in 2019.
